ESX.gg
Founded ESX.gg, a fantasy esports platform built around a market-style format for competitive gaming. Led the product from concept through beta traction, user acquisition, community feedback, and ultimately acquisition by BetPro Group.
RIFT Capital is the private holding and operating company of founder Dylan Rich — focused on hands-on ownership across hospitality, consumer, technology, and esports. The platform is built around practical execution, customer experience, and long-term business building.
RIFT Capital is a private holding and operating company — not a fund or an investment manager. It is the platform Dylan Rich uses to build, acquire, operate, and back businesses through direct ownership, hands-on involvement, and his own capital.
The work spans hospitality, consumer businesses, technology, and esports. Across each category, the focus is the same: clear systems, disciplined operations, strong customer experience, and long-term ownership.
The same principles apply whether the business is a software product, a local service, or a quick-service restaurant: understand the customer, improve the system, and execute consistently. RIFT looks for businesses where operational discipline can become the advantage.
Every business is approached with owner-level attention, direct involvement, and accountability for the details that shape outcomes.
Treat operations like a product: map the system, identify friction points, improve the experience, and measure the impact of changes.
Budgets, vendors, schedules, standards, and follow-through — the operational work that compounds when done consistently.
TThe customer experience is where execution becomes visible — whether that happens in a store, through an app, or after a purchase.
Decisions grounded in numbers, customer feedback, and direct observation — then revisited as the facts change.
Build to hold, improve, and compound. RIFT is focused on durable businesses, not quick flips.
Experience across digital products, product leadership, and physical operations — with each business requiring real execution, customer understanding, and day-to-day ownership.

Launched and operated a Waterloo quick-service restaurant from concept through daily operations. Managed brand and menu development, hiring, staffing, vendor coordination, equipment, renovations, delivery platforms, online ordering, local marketing, customer service, budgets, and operating standards.
"I build and operate businesses where product quality, customer experience, and day-to-day execution matter."
RIFT exists as a long-term platform for businesses where disciplined operations, customer experience, brand standards, and local execution matter. That applies to a quick-service restaurant, a consumer concept, or a software product. The goal is not to trade in and out of ideas; it is to build, operate, improve, and hold businesses with care.
Hands-on opportunities where ownership, operations, customer experience, and long-term execution can create value.
RIFT uses Dylan Rich’s own capital and direct involvement. It does not raise, solicit, or manage capital for outside investors.
For operating opportunities, franchise conversations, partnerships, hiring, product, or strategy discussions, the fastest way to reach RIFT is directly by email.
